More Pink-feet

After my WeBS count yesterday I decided to pop into Aber to find the purple sandpipers. On arrival at the prom I saw a flock of 72 pink-footed geese flying in off the sea; they headed over the town before veering south-east. A scan of the sea revealed a great northern diver off the castle and there were 7 purple sandpipers on the prom wall. Later at the Clettwr there were 38 pink-footed geese feeding with Canadas on Lodge Farm, two peregrines, two ringtail hen harriers and three water pipits.
