RSPB Ynys-hir migrants

The first singing willow warbler and blackcap on the reserve this morning. Lots of chiffchaff in now and at high-tide from the Ynys Feurig hide there were five black-tailed godwits and a merlin with a few swallows flying east. The Greenland white-fronted geese are feeding on fields west of the Breakwater hide but were not visible this morning from the Ynys Feurig hide as they were tucked into a field corner.
