Already tired of the 'monotony' of chiff-chaffs, it was good to see and hear willow warblers and hear at least three male grasshopper warblers in their usual spot on the Molinia strip running from the forest opening towards the Rhos-y Hafod.
A lot of mature forest has been harvested. It will be interesting to see whether this will bring wintering shrike(s) any nearer.
