Other stuff from Ynyslas

The Shrike was part of an arrival of birds to Ynyslas this morning. Totals included a late Tree Pipit in the boatyard gardens, 3 Whinchat, 32 Stonechat, 1 Wheatear, 41 Skylark, 347 Meadow Pipit, 620 Linnet, 33 Reed Bunting, 33 alba Wagtails, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and the Queen Eider was in the mouth of the estuary. Waders at the point included 6 Knot, 2 Sanderling, 150 Dunlin, 80 Ringed Plover and a Golden Plover. Birds flying over included 10 Grey Wagtails south.
