There are often sizeable gatherings of gulls in the harbour at Aberystwyth when the tide is low. If Edward can count Meadow Pipits and the like passing overhead at Ynyslas then the least I an do is to count the gulls in the harbour while sitting in the lounge.
This morning's totals were: 466 Herring Gulls, 6 Mediterranean and 4 Great Black-backed.
