A continuous light passage of mostly distant auks off Aberystwyth this morning; prob 200 plus and almost all going north, as were 16 Gannets, all adults, and 10 Common Scoter (plus 3 south).
Heading south were two Teal, a Great Northern Diver and three Red-throated Divers, with another two on the sea.
11 Ringed Plovers on the rocks at the point were joined for a short time by a Knot, with an even briefer visit from a Sanderling.
