Penrhiwllan

Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock we saw 2 mute swans fly over our place quite high, heading south west towards Newcastle Emlyn. We have been here for over 10 years and this is a first.  We are also seeing  a growing number of starling flying over southwardly in the morning and back in the late afternoon, totalling several thousand. We have not seen many winter thrushes.
