RSPB Ynys-hir

I popped into the Ynys Feurig hide this morning and met Dick Squires in the hide. Prior to my arrival he had seen a spotted redshank amongst the 190 redshank and 14 black-tailed godwits. Whilst we were there a distant ringtail hen harrier was hunting over the fields briefly, an immature male goshawk was chased off by two ravens and a slavonian grebe in winter plumage was out on the Dyfi.
