Afon Clettwr

A pink-footed Goose with the Canada's from the Clettwr river this afternoon, and ten White-fronted Geese just beyond them, two of which were sporting necklaces. Well before sunset, the 15.30 from Aberystwyth flushed a Barn Owl from bushes by the line; I saw the same thing happen through the train window last month, but this time was able to watch it (to within 5m) through slightly cleaner optics. It continued to hunt until I left at 4.30. Also a (male) Hen Harrier there.
