A good start at Pont Einon with a hunting ringtail Hen Harrier and three Little Egrets.  Very few birds along the old railway to Maesllyn except for a party of seven Bullfinches.  On the lake, ca220 Wigeon, seven Tufted Ducks and four Teal and in a nearby field were around 20 Fieldfares and 15 Redwings: a welcome sight as I've seen very few of either species this winter.
