An interesting collection of sightings yesterday morning at castle point, most unusual of which was Anglesey Birdman Ken Croft and friend, who stopped for a chat.
Star bird was a passing Great Northern Diver. Also moving through were two each of Red-throated Diver, Common Scoter and Lesser Black-backed Gull,
Seven Purple Sandpipers flew into the roost as high tide approached and on the sea were two Shags, another Red-throated Diver and a very smart Great Crested Grebe in summer plumage.
