Meanwhile Andy James had a couple of Lesser Black-backed Gulls on a rooftop in Bridge St. Aberystwyth this morning and Dave Thomas tells me that two Greenfinches have been singing sporadically near Talybont church over recent days.
Having listened to the Song Thrush on Radio 4's tweet of the day this morning, half an hour later I was standing at my door listening to (and watching) the real thing in full voice just a few yards away.
