Pete Scott and I spent Sunday and Monday sampling some of the area's typical birds. Beautiful scenery blessed with glorious sunshine. From around 80 species we particularly enjoyed great views of Redstarts at Cors Ian, Garden Warbler and Pied Fly at Coed y Bont and Dipper at Black Covert.
At least one Hobby at Cors Caron, a Wheatear at Llanrhystud and three colour-ringed Whimbrel at Llansantffraed also stood out.
