Some good counts of the commoner waders this morning, though they were often difficult to count, being well scattered across the rocky beaches.
Totals were: Ringed Plover 66 (48 Llanrhystud, 18 Llanon), Dunlin 37 (27 Llanrhystud, 10 Llanon), Sanderling 25 (23 Llanrhystud, 2 Llanon), some in very smart reddish breeding plumage..
Also at Llanrhystud were five Turnstones, and along the coast at Llansantffraed a solitary Whimbrel.
