Spent 20 mins Monday morning and very pleased to see a
Dyfi rarity – a female kestrel (on both sides of the river), which eventually
landed at Domen las. 34 cormorants on the river was a high count for the
site.
Very pleased to see that RSPB will be soon sorting the
water levels on the Ynys Feurig pool as have been low there already for several
weeks. Look forward to wood sands, ruff and greenshank on the shallow edges, and
the exciting prospect of regular usage this winter by white-fronts – I didn’t
manage to see them once on the pools last winter!
