Castle Point and Tanybwlch

10 Ringed Plovers and nine Turnstones on the beach at high tide this morning. A Peregrine was perched on Constitution Hill.
All I could find offshore was a passing Med Gull so I went to Tanybwlch.  At least 20 Meadow Pipits were mostly around the ditch, where there was a Teal.  Two Curlews in a field and two Choughs flew noisily in from the cliffs.
A quick check on Blaendolau Fields on the way home revealed a single Med Gull among 80 plus Herring and Black-headed.
