Glandyfi this morning

Good birding in the lay-bye this morning. Sightings included single  brambling (first I've had here), 41 chaffinch, 12 mistle thrush, 160 redwing,  (no fieldfares this morning) 3 little grebe, 2 goosander, and a  kingfisher.  4 buzzards and 6 great black backed gulls were gathered around several sheep carcases.  Other waders included 8 dunlin, a common sand and a redshank.
