Llanrhystud yesterday

I was glad to see plenty of water on the field after a long dry spell.  It had attracted 10 Mallard and c350 Black-headed Gulls.  On the beach were 23 Turnstones, 18 Ringed Plovers and two Dunlin.
Pied Wagtails and Meadow Pipits moving through in small numbers.
Just down the coast at Llanon were two Red-throated Divers, two Gannets and six Common Scoter.
A Swallow over Llanfarian was as much as I could manage today.
