Late afternoon found me watching a very obliging f/imm Black Redstart on The Old College at Aberystwyth.
Chris rang to say he had found a Ring-necked Duck on Llyn Pendam and that I had just enough time to get up there before the light disappeared. Sheila and John Gettins happened to arrive and I drove us all up to the lake.
Chris was still there and pointed out the duck which tended to keep company with a female Goldeneye.
