I took a stroll around the Ynyslas area this morning whilst the tide was
high. There were plenty of waders at the North Point including over 100
oystercatcher, a good mix of sanderling, golden plover, dunlin, turnstone,
curlew and ringed plover plus at least ten grey plover. Not much on the Estuary
but over on Ynys Tachwedd fields were 100 plus golden plover, similar numbers of
Canada geese with a goodly smattering of curlew and lapwing.
