Having started the year down in Carmarthenshire, Jill and I had a good day in Ceredigion which included:
Aberystwyth: 3 Purple Sandpipers on the prom wall and 25 Turnstones on a little bit of beach at high tide infront of the Belle View.
The Brickhouse at Ynyslas: 80 Common Scoters and 2 Velvets Scoters, a drake and a female.
RSPB Ynys-hir: A Whooper Swan and 3 Goldeneyes on the Dyfi from Marion Mawr.
Glandyfi: A Green Sandpiper and by the railway bridge a pair of Goldeneyes accompanied by a female Long-tailed Duck.
