Five Purple Sandpipers in the roost at Aber to start then up to Ynyslas. Single Turnstone and Great Crested Grebe on the falling tide, plus about 55 Curlews. A long line of ca400 Oystercatchers flew across the estuary to the pillbox area.
A nice little collection on the sea opposite the golf clubhouse comprised three Shoveler, two Velvet Scoter, a Great Crested Grebe and an all-male raft of Common Scoter which were so close inshore they were almost on the beach.
