An uneventful but pleasant outing in the sunshine. Winter thrushes have been scarce recently so I was pleased to find a flock of at least 200 near Maesllyn; around 80% Fieldfares, 20% Redwings.
155 Wigeon and three Goosanders on the lake.
Later there were 38 Greylags and three Great Black-backed Gulls on Ystrad Caron fields. (Another three Great Black-backs had flown up the Teifi earlier).
