Wondered if the Snow Bunting was still about in the stubble. No sign, but I wasn't the only one interested in small birds. A female Merlin appeared and shot after a terrified Skylark, which, after a prolonged chase, escaped. Also present; 100 Golden Plovers, 2 Goldcrests, 2 Mediterranean Gulls.
