A good count of 20 Turnstones on the seawall at Aberystwyth this morning.
Then to Ynyslas point for the high tide. Red Liford and dog turned up and we spent a pleasant session largely going through the terns. Among ca 110 Sandwich Terns were two Common and three Arctic or it may have been three Common and two Arctic: they kept moving.
Small waders were mostly Dunlin and Ringd Plover, with at least 12 Sanderling, though Red may have found something else among them after I left.
