Llanrhystud and Llanon

There were two Wigeon and six Teal on the flooded field (now the muddy field) this morning. Waders wer mostly on the nearby stretch of beach with just Dunlin commuting to the field. Totals were: Dunlin 28, Ringed Plover 2, Turnstone 5 and Little Stint 1. Two Wheatears among the many Meadow Pipits and alba Wagtails. At Llanon were many more pipits and wagtails, a few Skuylarks and three more Wheatears. A male Sparrowhawk was chased off by corvids and on the point were 28 Med Gulls and the white Oystercatcher.
