Above Tregaron

Sometimes when you go out birding it isn't the birds that are the highlight of the walk. This morning I saw my first ever Ceredigion Red Squirrel. It was about 2km out of Tregaron in an oak tree along the side of a lane that runs up to Bryn Du plantation, an extension of Cwm Berwyn. I watched it for about 10 minutes as it sat motionless in a fork about 20 feet off the ground.
