During a bike ride on Friday afternoon (26th), I came across a common sandpiper on a quiet lane, in a flooded field just outside of Swyddffynon. Maybe resting from a long flight? It was only 15m away over the hedge standing next to the floodwater. Cors Caron and the Teifi is very close, which I would imagine they navigate with.

late walk at Cors Caron on the 25th provided a male hen harrier, barn owl,
singing stonechat in near darkness and a snipe.
