A pair of Garganey was sat on the sea just off the southern end of the arable fields at Llanon this morning. After a few minutes they took off and headed south. In between Llanon and Aberarth there were 5 Choughs, 5 Wheatears, 11 Willow Warblers, 8 Chiffs and 4 Blackcaps. I also counted around 32 Herring Gull nests on the cliffs below. At Llanrhystud there were 6 Wheatears, 4-5 White Wags, 27 Med Gulls and 6 Willow Warblers + 4 Blackcaps in the lime kilns.
