Intriguing to see Mike Bailey's report of a green woodpecker earlier this week. I'm pretty sure I heard a 'yaffle' just north of Allt y Crib (Talybont) a couple of days ago. It was in an area where I'd heard one a few years back. With one heard at Ynyshir as well, is there an influx or just one bird on tour?
