Tregaron and beyond

Silke, I counted about 33 nests at the rookery last spring. I was in town this morning. Not sure how many this year but I noticed that there were a few at the opposite end of town too. There is also another rookery about 10 minutes walk from town, along the mountain road, on the right, with perhaps 20 nests. Also near here today, a pair of Dippers and 100 Redwings. On Sunday I heard a Willow Tit singing about 1km north of the bridge at Pontrhydygroes 750727, whilst I was watching a Dipper. I switched on the playback device that I have and it crossed from the opposite bank in order to verbally abuse me. I had a very close view; no sign of any pale areas on the wings at all, in contrast to those present at Denmark Farm recently which had extensive and very distinctive pale panels.
