Thought I'd try Llanrhystud again today and my luck held. Scanning the sea just south of the field that floods, I heard a familiar call behind me and there on the bare earth sat a Yellow Wagtail, the same area as yesterday. It stayed all of 30 seconds in which I managed five shots before it flew into the field beyond. Champagne is currently flowing in the Creasser household, not for the Wagtail however but for my first House Martin for 2021. Other notable birds seen include 5 Barwits, 4 Whimbrel, numerous Ringed Plover, Dunlin White/Pied Wags, Whitethroat, at the lime kilns.
