Ring-necked Duck at Cors Caron

An early walk to the South end of the reserve this morning produced a  Ring-necked Duck near Pont Einon, 3 Little Egrets, 4 Goosanders and numerous Sand, House Martins and Swallows also 4 Greylag Geese.

At Maesllyn Lake there are still 7 Wigeon, 6 pairs of Teal, 4 Coot, 3 Moorhens and also a few more House, Sand Martins and a few Swallows. Also along the railway walk we had 7 Chiff Chaffs and 5 Willow Warblers, 2 Reed Buntings, 1 Stonechat, upto 5 Meadow pipits, pair of Bullfinches and a couple of Wrens.

A drive out on the Abergwesyn road produced a pair of Peregrines and up to 6 Wheaters.
