Nice walk upstream along the Leri yesterday morning - a few Ringed Plover & Dunlin - best were three Ruff , upstream from the railway bride .Walking North along the edge of the golf course early yesterday evening , looking down on the beach - had a nice flock of c8 Dunlin ; 3 Sanderling ; 3 Bar-tailed Godwits & what looked very much like the same 3 Ruff I saw in the morning .The evening sighting on the beach was to the sound of 3 Sandwich Terns just offshore.....Lovely being on the campsite this evening & hearing Ringed Plover calling from the river ....Nigel Starnes
