Borth to the brickhouse

A look at the flat calm sea this morning.  Hundreds of auks were passing offshore, many in long lines of up to 40 or so. The auks which were on the sea within i.d. range were almost all Razorbills;  at least 110 between Upper Borth and Ynyslas  with the biggest concentration, of 65, off the brickhouse.  The only Guillemots I could find were a few at the south end..There were also 50 plus Common Scoters and 13 Red-throated Divers.

Looking out of the window as I write this, there is a Grey Wagtail on the roof of my car.
