Highlights of a couple of hours vismig was 2 whooper swans seen heading south over the sea past Aberystwyth and a total of 9 brambling overhead. Also seen was 418 chaffinch, 43 meadow pipit, 2 goldfinch, 49, Siskin, 1 Great spotted woodpecker, 7 mistle thrush, 3 Alba wagtail, 6 house sparrow, 8 auks, 3 linnet, 3 bullfinch, 24 woodpigeon and 600+ starlings heading towards the coast. On the way back a merlin briefly seen flying low over the fields near the back of the gold course.
