Helen and I met up at Castle Point this morning. Highlight was a Great Northern Diver heading north, then a late Gannet went south, as did a pair of Mallards, close inshore.
It was calm and warm with sunny periods at Ynyslas, where I enjoyed a similar variety of birds as Dave yesterday except for no Knot or Golden Plovers and only one Grey Plover. However, I did find a Greenshank among the Redshanks.
