This morning there were three Purple Sandpipers feeding on the Tanybwlch side of the stone jetty. Yesterday, 10 Ringed Plovers at Castle Point and 19 Turnstones by the pier.
Also yesterday, on the low tide at Ynyslas were 190 Wigeon and 27 Shelducks, but apart from Curlews and Oystercatchers I could only find a Grey Plover. A quick look at Ynys Tachwedd fields produced three Greylags with 240 Canada Geeese and scattered between Borth annd Ynyslas were ca120 Common Scoters.
