Spent a few hours again this morning today (5th) at New Quay. The combination of wind and high tide made for a lot of spray which I had to shelter from. A couple of confiding Turnstones shared my shelter while I watched the sea. Pick of birds seen, 1 each of Brent Goose, Great Crested Grebe, Purple Sandpiper, 14 Red-throated Divers, 7 Common Scoters, 5 Gannets.
