I arrived at Castle Point this morning to.find Ewan and team competing in a bird race against Bangor U, each confined to their own patch.
Together we managed at least two Red-throated Divers on the sea, five passing Common Scoters, a raft of around six Wigeon in Clarach Bay and best of all, two Sandwich Terns which flew in towards the point before settling on College rocks. It helps to have three extra pairs of (young) eyes when seawatching.
