A very welcome series of recent Green Woodpecker records, as follows.
A visitor reported Green Woodpecker at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre on
several separate occasions in February. We’d be keen to hear reports (via this
blog) from other birders who visit the site, to find out if this bird continues
to stick around.
Records of other species seen on your visit are always
welcome too.

25th Feb. A Green Woodpecker has been calling at Ynys-hir for the past two days on the first part of the blue trail. Not managed to see it yet.

Finally, my erstwhile neighbour in Lledrod , Jasmine Donahaye, reports a Green Woodpecker calling for the best part of an hour last week - heard from her garden. It was in the same area where I heard one last December; lets hope he stays around.
