Amused that Harry and Will saw a GW Egret.......and that was about it.......another quiet day. How long has it been since they were so rare in Ceredigion? Now look at us all.
I've had the good fortune to be on A/L this week and have tried a couple of times to see Goshawk displaying (at Hafod estate and downriver a little at Coed Maenarthur) but with out any luck. This morning I had a quick stroll in nearby Long Wood. I only ventured in about a mile before turning back but there was an abundance of Chiffchaffs to be heard. I counted 21 singing males at the Llangybi end of the ridge.
