It was glorious this morning at the point at Ynyslas and although birds were a bit thin on the ground (and in the air) there were still some crackers to see. 3 Great Crested Grebes, now in summer garb, a pair of Red-breasted Mergansers, 10 Golden Plovers most also in summer plumage, 3 Swallows and one each of Sanderling, House Martin and a very dapper alba Wagtail.
