Aberystwyth - Borth - Ynyslas

Highlights walking from Aberystwyth to Borth were 2 Kittiwakes and 7 Choughs on the coast path. Plus close views of a male sparrowhawk we flushed off the cliffs.

At the Borth Memorial were 6 wheatears and a female Eider on the sea.

We walked back along the Leri to Ynyslas with around 20 singing Sedge Warblers holding territory and about 4 Reed Buntings. There were 5 Common Sandpiper where the railway crosses the river. A Grasshopper Warbler was singing alongside the bridlepath between the “B road” and the minor road through Ynyslas. There were two groups of 7 Whimbrel on the Golf links.
