Hafod Estate

Drizzly weather but lots of Wood Warblers. I walked the brown trail first (13) then crossed the alpine bridge on to the red trail (7). I've certainly never seen as many as 20 before anywhere. For anyone wishing to see this species I would recommend the brown trail. It starts at the car park, is relatively flat, and a lot of it is on good forestry tracks, about 2 miles all round. Other birds inc. a female Goosander on the river, Cuckoos at both ends of the estate and 6 Pied Flys.
