The highlight of a walk around Pendinas this afternoon was a pair of lesser whitethroats at the bottom. The male was singing from within the scrub and after a short wait, it appeared out in the open long enough for me to grab a few record shots. The second appear briefly alongside it. Also seen was 15 common whitethroats, 2 garden warblers, 4 sedge warblers and a number of chiffchaffs, willow warblers and blackcaps.
