Met up with Helen at Castle Point this morning, after counting 23 Turnstones at roost on the wall. Helen had the same count yesterday evening, plus a Little Egret in The Gap.
Nothing happening offshore except a northward passage of Manx Shearwaters, several hundreds in the hour or so that we were there. As we were leaving Helen looked up in time for us to watch a line of 16 Greylag Geese flying south, close inshore.
