I mentioned recently my concern that there seemed to be nothing at all at Pant Pool when I've been there and so I'm glad to say that everything was business as usual when I went there after lunch; 7 Little Grebes, half a dozen Herons, a handful of Teal/Mallard and a Coot. Pont Gogoyan very quiet, however. At Maes Llyn pool; 140 Wigeon, 2 Goosanders and a Tufted Duck.
On Wednesday I saw a Merlin scything through the blustery showers between Henllan and Llandyfriog.
