Had my clicker with me today so tried to make a count of the Goldies. I couldn't see the entire large flock, but counted at least 1400 together. Smaller flocks scattered about in other fields, so wouldn't be surprised if the total number was over 2000. Hundreds of Lapwing spread about. Couple of Snipe and a Redshank.
