Prior to a food shop I was at Llanrhystud this morning where there were 15 red-throated divers and a guillemot on the sea but little else of note.
Post lunch I thought a quiet walk down the Cletwr would be nice but
on arrival there were six cars parked by the ford and numerous people with
scopes and lenses on the bank so I beat a hasty retreat to the relative quiet of
Ynyslas where the great northern diver was still present in the main channel off
the northern point. Seven red-throated divers on the sea at the brick house
too.
